WHO WE ARE

  • We are Mercer University's E-waste prevention program dedicated to raising awareness of toxic terrorism and taking action to acknowledge and reduce our e-waste footprint. We host collection events and awareness activities in an effort to educate the community on the hazardous effects of our old technologies.

  • E-waste constitutes any old electronics that are discarded, usually  illegally in developing countries, without concern for the required special collection and discarding of these materials. As a crisis prevention program it is our duty to enlighten members of the community and encourage them to take action to end this toxic terrorism.

WHAT WE DO

Spread Awareness of

E-waste!

  • What is e-waste?

  • Are you contributing to the e-waste dumping crisis in Africa?

  • What is Coltan?

  • How does the coltan crisis relate to the e-waste dumping crisis?

  • What can be done to reduce the environmental and physical impact of e-waste and coltan on societies as well as individuals?

The goal of our dedicated members is to promote outreach programs and events as well connect with our communities to get people actively involved in bolstering the well-being of all citizens. As global citizens, it is our duty to be intensively committed to the betterment of our world and the lives of those in it.
